There were animals to see. Lots of chickens, a turkey, goats, sheep, ducks. Madison liked them all, but from a distance. There was an activity barn that had different stations for the kids to play at. They had a home center, a center with little tractors, trains, and cars. But Madison's favorite was the grocery store. She kept saying "just my size!". She was pretty excited!
As we walked around the acres and acres of property, Madison spotted some tire swings with kids on them. She insisted on swinging on it. So she did! She thought that was pretty awesome.
The last thing that we were gonna do before picking out our pumkins and leaving for the day, was to go on a hayride. We had to wait in a long line, but Madison was excited to go on a ride. After about 15 minutes in line, she fell asleep.
She slept through the hayride, through picking out pumpkins, and woke up just as we were getting to the car. She woke up crying "tractor! tractor!" She was really upset that she missed the tractor hayride. We felt pretty bad. But Mimi told her that they might come back and ride it another day. Eventually she stopped crying for the tractor and we sang silly songs on the way back home. Overall, the day at the pumpkin patch was great! Can't wait for next year!
