- had a sleepover Friday night. This means that we inflated the air mattress and we slept on the floor of my dad's man cave, falling asleep to the movie Tangled.
- dyed Easter eggs Saturday morning
- headed to the park for a picnic lunch and lots of outdoor playtime on Saturday afternoon.
- Went to church with the family.
- oohed and aahed over what treasures the Easter bunny left.
- shared in the fun that is Pop Rocks. You know, those tiny little candies that pop in your mouth. The Easter bunny brought some for her, and she was kind enough to share.
- sang Supercalifragilisticexpialisdous more times than I can count.
I had lots of fun and so enjoyed the family. But lets not forget the real reason for this wonderful holiday. My dear friend, Kelly, blogged about it so well. Check it out.
Jesus thank You for the cross, for the blood that sets us free, the crimson stain of all our sin washed away in Your mercy.
