I am sure all of you have heard by now about the flooding taking over Nashville. For those of you who are in the dark, or if you didn't see this report from NBC Nightly News, here is the link to it.
Just wanted to give everyone an update on the family. Everyone is well. Mom and Dad got tons and tons of rain, but no damage or flooding at the house. Apparently Madison has been singing "rain, rain, go away" for the past several days. Granny is fine too. The Harpeth River runs near her house, and it was flooded and started to creep down her street into her neighborhood, but luckily did not make it to her house. Praise God.
Although all the family is well, there is a massive amount of damage, and lives have been lost. Please keep Nashville in your thoughts and prayers as they begin to pick up the pieces that Mother Nature has left in shambles.

Downtown Nashville.
News reports said that the Cumberland River that runs next to downtown was 12 feet above flood stage.
