~What the crap is that?~

I went over to my friend, Ashley's apartment. As I was walking up to her floor, I spotted this hanging about 5 feet outside her door...

At first I thought it was a funny looking wasp's nest. But as I got closer I thought, "what the crap is that?!" Then when I was about 12 inches from it I realized what it was....

a BAT!

What the heck? Since when is the second floor of an apartment building the best place for bats? So now Ashley has a fun little night-time friend to "hang" out with. (corny, I know)
